I have been thinking of blogging since a long time but kept procrastinating for the mundane day today activities. But yesterday I had to something that I put off for a long time and so I signed up with bloggers.com as a "shooting star". We headed to the movies to watch Julie and Julia since it was a lazy Sunday evening. Little did I know that the movie was about blogging...writing about what you really love, finding a purpose to live and to connect yourself to the people who think like you. I really thought of it as "a Sign".....
Julie in the movie is a newyorker living in Queens who works for a government agency by the day and cooks in the evening to destress. She's very passionate about cooking and so writes a blog of cooking from a cook book by Julia Child . The Julia segments take place in post-war Paris, and the Paris of this film, one of elegant cafes, haute couture and vintage cars, is someplace we all wished we lived. 'Julia who is contemperory for her generation does not want to "not do anything" like the housewives of those times and joins a french cooking school and ends up writing a cook book with all french recipes for the very firrst time. Both these women give you an inspiration of some kind to work with your passion.
Like a saying goes : "Get busy living or get busy dying".
